SHERPA has also accompanied the development of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/ip_21_3162\" target=\"_blank\">EU Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas<\/a>&nbsp;with the ambition to contribute to future rural policies. The&nbsp;<strong>SHERPA Final Conference<\/strong>&nbsp;will provide the final opportunity to look back at the work done and identify, by using a co-creative participatory approach, the main SHERPA recommendations, as well as reflect on the methodology of using&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rural-interfaces.eu\/rural-interfaces\/\" target=\"_blank\">Science-Society-Policy interfaces<\/a>. This will be facilitated by gathering members of all its&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rural-interfaces.eu\/rural-interfaces\/\" target=\"_blank\">41 Science-Society-Policy interfaces<\/a>&nbsp;in Brussels, which will also allow them to interact with each other directly and jointly decide the final messages of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Co-create SHERPA\u2019s contribution to the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/commission\/presscorner\/detail\/en\/ip_21_3162\" target=\"_blank\">EU Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas<\/a>, with a specific focus on the potential adjustments of the EU&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rural-vision.europa.eu\/action-plan_en\" target=\"_blank\">Rural Action Plan<\/a>.<\/li><li>Co-create SHERPA\u2019s recommendations for the wider policy framework, with a specific focus on the policy orientation for the next EU policy cycle (i.e. after 2027).<\/li><li>Explore how the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rural-interfaces.eu\/rural-interfaces\/\" target=\"_blank\">Science-Society-Policy interfaces<\/a>&nbsp;created in SHERPA can continue to contribute to rural policies after the end of the SHERPA project in September 2023.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rural-interfaces.eu\/news-or-events\/sherpa-final-conference\/\">Click here<\/a> for more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since October 2019, SHERPA has worked on formulating recommendations for the future of rural areas in a variety of&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rural-interfaces.eu\/resources-and-tools\/rural-policy-papers\/\" target=\"_blank\">key topics<\/a>.
