{"id":16711,"date":"2024-08-01T16:30:54","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T14:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arepoquality.eu\/event\/international-conference-global-perspectives-on-geographical-indications\/"},"modified":"2025-01-22T23:12:03","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T22:12:03","slug":"international-conference-global-perspectives-on-geographical-indications","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/www.arepoquality.eu\/it\/event\/international-conference-global-perspectives-on-geographical-indications\/","title":{"rendered":"FAO and\u00a0Mipaaf |\u00a0International Conference on &#8220;Global Perspectives on Geographical Indications&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup> edition of the international conference on Geographical Indications <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-green-color\">will be held in&nbsp;<strong>Rome (Italy), from 18 to 21 February 2025.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference, titled\u00a0<strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-green-color\">&#8220;Global Perspectives on Geographical Indications&#8221;<\/mark><\/em><\/strong>, is organised by FAO together with the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food\u00a0Sovereignty and Forestry, and with the support of CIRAD (Centre for International Cooperation in Agricultural Research for Development, Montpellier, France), IPI (Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property,\u00a0Switzerland), oriGIn (Organization for an international network of geographical indications), OriGIn\u00a0Italia and the Qualivita Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-green-color\">This second edition will focus on the theme of<strong> innovation for sustainability.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you to not miss the chance to participate in this conference and to propose a contribution to the Scientific Committee organising it!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contribution might be a&nbsp;scientific\/academic research but also the description of a&nbsp;practical experience.
