The Ministry for Rural Affairs, Agriculture and Regional Identity of Baden-Württemberg is hosting next month an international agricultural policy congress on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and generational renewal in agriculture in Baden-Württemberg and the European Union, under the title:
“Common Agricultural Policy post-2028: Balancing Sustainability and Competitiveness”
The congress will feature high-level speakers and will take place on Friday, 2 October 2026, from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart (Mercedesstraße 69, 70372 Stuttgart, Germany).
Through two panel discussions, the debates will centre on the future of the Common Agricultural Policy from 2028 onwards, with a focus on the EU’s strategy for young farmers and generational renewal in agriculture. Around 300–350 guests are expected to attend, and the event will feature simultaneous interpretation in German, English and French, and possibly Romanian and/or Polish.
